(DunyaNews) A team constituted by President met Hindu leaders in Jacobabad and assured them to remove their grievances.
The team constituted by the President has assured the leaders of the Hindu Community in Sindh that their grievances will be resolved through legislation in Sindh Assembly.
The assurance was given to the Hindu community by the Minister for Political Affairs Maula Bukhsh Chandio while addressing a meeting of Hindu Punchayet leaders at Jacobabad on Sunday.
He said minorities enjoy equal rights in the country and assured the Hindu leaders that issues raised by them at the meeting will be conveyed to President Asif Ali Zardari in order to final a solution to them.
He said the Hindus should not pay attention to the conspiracies being hatched to defame the country.
The Minister said that consultation with Hindu Community leaders will be continued across the Sindh Province.
According to sources, a three member Presidential team held talks with Hindu Community leaders and listened to their problems.
The team comprises Federal Minister for Political Affairs Maula Bukhsh Chandio‚ Senator Hari Ram and MNA Lal Chand.
At the meeting Hindu Community leaders raised issues of law and order and forced conversions.
